Centre of Excellence Distinguished Lecture Series: Dick Wall - Reprise

The Distinguished Lecture Series talk for 2008 was presented in December. Dick Wall gave a fascinating talk about a variety of topics relating to software development.

Dick is a professional software engineer, currently working for Navigenics, previously at Google, and an alumni of the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent. He is also one of the presenters of the popular Java Posse podcasts.

Activities

The Center of Excellence works on developing educational tools, pedagogocal methods and material to support the teaching of object-oriented programming at all levels.

We also work on dissemination of the outcome of this work, via direct contact (such as workshops and teaching activities) and through the internet.
