Canterbury Cathedral imageThe ICT Network is intended to be a fairly informal group of teachers with a joint interest in ICT and computing teaching at schools in Kent.

The purpose of the Network is to facilitate communication between interested teachers in the field, and to provide information to teachers about events that may be of interest to you.

The Network is being coordinated by the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent. It has no commercial interests, and will not be used for advertising. Joining is free.

Joining the ICT Network

Joining the Network is very easy. Just mail us and tell us that you like to join, including:

  • Your name
  • The name of your school
  • The type of your school
  • Your role in the school

Our mail address is on the Contact page.

The only immediate effect of joining will be that you are added to a mailing list (the ICT-Teachers mailing list). Teachers are encouraged to use this mailing list to communicate with each other, for instance  to ask advice, share experiences and ideas, or share material.

We, the University of Kent, will use this mailing list to announce offerings for teachers which we organise more or less regularly in future (such as teacher workshops).

The ICT Teachers Mailing List

Once you have joined the ICT Network, you will receice mail sent to the ICT Network mailing list, and you will be able to post to that list. The list address is ict-network@kent.ac.uk

Only subscribed list members can post to this list.
