We are pleased to announce the establishment of the

ICT & Computing Teachers Network Kent

The network is intended to be a fairly informal group of teachers with a joint interest in ICT and computing teaching at schools in Kent.

The purpose of the Network is to facilitate communication between interested teachers in the field, and to provide information to teachers about events that may be of interest to you.

The Network is being coordinated by the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent. It has no commercial interests, and will not be used for advertising. Joining is free.

Please see the About... page for more information about joining.

The Network provides a platform for teachers to discuss, ask advice and share material. We, the University of Kent, will announce offerings for teachers, such as workshops and visit days, to this Network.

Activities include offers of school visits to the Computing Laboratory, Computing days for students, workshops for teachers on relevant technology and computing pedagogy.

With this Network, we hope to provide a platform where teachers can cooperate with each other and with us at the university to exchange experiences, improve teaching and learning in your classrooms and make the subject more interesting for all of us.

All ICT and computing teachers are warmly invited to join.
