PhD Project Summary

For my PhD project I am investigating how hardware based Network Intrusion Detection Systems could have tremendous impact on detecting malicious intrusions over a busy network with high traffick rate. I am using Field Programmable Gate Array for Regular Expression Pattern Matching.
