PhD Project Summary

For my PhD project I am investigating the application of static analysis techniques, particularly pointer analysis, to the area of garbage collection. I aim to predict object lifetimes to guide garbage collection to objects that are most likely to be dead.

My PhD is part of the larger LACE (Lifetime Aware Collection) Project.
