Research Interests

I belong to the following research groups:

My main area of research is in brain signal processing and its applications including: EEG-based biomarker discovery for brain diseases, neurofeedback applications for medical and sport applications and brain computer interface. Also I am working on signal processing methods including : adaptive filtering, tracking methods and machine learning methods for pattern classification. Keywords: EEG, biomarker, Alzheimer's disease, wavelets, hilbert transform, time-frequency analysis, phase synchrony, BCI, adaptive filtering, SVM

PhD Supervision

I am willing to supervise Ph.D. students in the following fields:

  • Research methods: signal processing, machine learning, statistical analysis, data fusion
  • Application 1: diagnosing, classifying and monitoring states of brain health/ illness
  • Application 2: brain computer interface and neuofeedback for psychology and medical uses
  • Application 3: body sensor data fusion and analysis for healthcare and sports
  • Application 4: multimodality analysis of brain imaginig technics
