Value-LITE 2009

Value-LITE is a scheme being run by the Computer Science department to help Stage 1 students with revision, examinations and transition to the next phase of their degree programme.

The scheme will have 2 distinct phases:

· Revision and exam techniques – see timetable below

· Induction to Stage 2 in week 1 of 2008/9 – details to follow later

The sessions are not compulsory – you may attend as many as you think are relevant and useful to you.

· You will gain most from the sessions if you have already begun your revision

· Attempting past examination questions is a good idea

Who can join Value-LITE?

The Value-LITE scheme is open to Stage 1 students registered for:

· CS, BCo, WCo, CSMS, CSAI (with or without a year in Industry)

· CoBA

· CSE

· Maths + CS

Students that register for the VALUE programme run by UELT are not eligible to register for Value-LITE in the same year. If you apply for VALUE, but do not manage to obtain a place on the scheme you are welcome to join Value-LITE.

If you would like to join the scheme please email Comp-Courseadmin@kent.ac.uk with a subject of “Value-LITE registration”

Provide your name, tutor’s name, and degree programme within the body of the email message.

You must register if you wish to join the scheme
