gnet
A Graph Editor/Browser
gnet is a general purpose editor/browser for directed graphs. One of
its main uses is as a tool for visualising archaeological stratigraphy, but
it is equally suited to a wide range of other applications.

- Note the following comments from the help file:
- Both the program and help file are far from complete
and contain a number of known bugs. The purpose of this version
is primarily to locate unknown bugs and to enable feedback from
users to be incorporated into a later version.
- Do not use this version for important work without first ensuring that
you have an adequate backup of all data.
- Gnet uses ODBC to connect to a database and retrieve and
update stored data. Ensure that ODBC is installed on your system
before using gnet.
- read gnet.txt (3k), the installation
instructions
- either
- get the complete installation kit for version 4.22b5, including
the example database. This comes in two files. Note (22/4/98) these have
been updated to fix problems with ODBC setup.
- or, if you already have v4.22b4,
just get gnet42b5.zip (319k), containing the
replacement gnet.exe executable and gnet.hlp help files
only.
