Research Interests

I belong to the following research groups:

I teach mobile computing, databases and some aspects of information systems. My research interests are in mobile and ubiquitous systems and visualization and description of ancient environments. My mobile work is centred on location and context-awareness, particularly in field sciences.

Recent collaborative projects:
EPOCH EPOCH, the European Research Network on Excellence in Processing Open Cultural Heritage. An EU funded Framework 6 Network of Excellence.
GROK GROK: Genealogical Relations of Knowledge. Funded by the EPSRC and the ESRC as part of the E-science programme in collaboration with the Royal Anthropological Institute
