About the Commons
When the twenty of us first met and introduced ourselves, it became apparent that whilst we had come together with similar interests our working lives were quite different. For instance, the departments we worked in were disparate: design, business, computer science. The group's students were also different: undergraduate, postgraduate, international, local ... this brought a varied mix to the group in context, culture and in ethos.
14 of us actually reached the finishing post in June 2008.
