Instrumenting and Testing Scientific Software

We are developing tools to instrument and test scientific software. These will support the creation of a web-based environment in which researchers are able incrementally to extend the test coverage (and the quality confidence level) of community scientific software. We anticipate that this will go live shortly, initially in support of the LAPACK subroutine library, and will eventually develop into a general service for testing and quality improvement of software for the scientific community.
