The quality of the School’s research was recognised in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) in 2021. 100% of our Computer Science and Informatics research was classified as either 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent' for impact.

Our research groups provide dynamic environments where staff and students can discuss and produce ground-breaking work. We work on projects with colleagues across the university, as well as with other universities and companies around the world.
