The University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NZ, T +44 (0)1227 764000
Come and see for yourselfThe School of Computing welcomes visits from prospective students, their parents and teachers and anyone else who would like to come and see us. The main Canterbury campus is a picturesque site situated in parkland, on a hill overlooking Canterbury and its historic cathedral. The Medway maritime campus is a new development with state of the art learning facilities in the heart of the thriving Thames Gateway. Visit days give you the chance come to the campus, walk around the grounds, go into the sports centre, library, cafes, bars, and accommodation blocks and visit departments. More importantly, you can meet current students and staff and get a real feel for what life at Kent is like. We offer three types of visit: a University Open Day, a UCAS Visit Day and an Informal Visit. The University of Kent's campus-wide Open Day is open to anyone. As well as exploring the university campus you can also visit the School of Computing and experience some of the special School of Computing open day activities (see below) arranged by computing students and staff. If you have already applied to Kent through the UCAS system and received an offer you will be invited to one of our pre-arranged UCAS visit days. If neither of these are possible for you then you can ask the university to arrange an informal visit for you. When can I visit? The next open days for the Canterbury and Medway campus will be in June / July 2012.
Further information about Open Days, UCAS days and informal visits is available on the university web site. |
