About

My primary research focus is the intersection between weak memory, speculative execution attacks, and cache side-channels. On a day to day basis, this involves development of weak memory execution profiling tools in the Linux kernel for both x86 and ARM. In a broader scope, my research interests encompass a number of topics in both the physical and cyber domains, including:

  • Mobile Malware Proliferation
  • Application of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies
  • Banking Fraud
  • Methods and Impacts of Cyberwarfare
  • OSINT
  • Data Protection and Privacy Preservation
  • Dark Web Communities
  • Impact of AI

If you are interested in any of these topics, please contact me at sgd6@kent.ac.uk
