Postgraduate Module Registration


Welcome letter from the Director of Graduate Studies (Taught)

Students who will be starting a taught Postgraduate Programme in the School from September 2017 are asked to make a provisional choice of options prior to arrival. This will enable the School to make preparations for the coming term. During Welcome Week there will be a talk by the Director of Graduate Studies (Taught), after which there will be an opportunity to change optional modules if necessary.

Registration is online via the Student Data System

  • Undergraduate Module Registration

    On-line registration for Stage 3 modules in the School of Computing will be open 24 March 2017. All students in the School entering Stage 3 in September 2017 are required to register for the modules they will take in 2017/2018 by that date. Students who are expecting to spend 2017/2018 on an industrial placement do not need to register for Stage 3 modules or a final year project until the end of their placement year. Any student who wishes to transfer degree programme must complete a degree transfer form available from the Student Administration Office (Canterbury), Reception (Medway) or from here

  • Online Module Catalogue. This contains all details about each module, including method of assessment and convenor information.

  • Module Specifications. Full module specifications for all modules delivered by the School.

  • Registration is online via the Student Data System. Menu item "Registration" then "Module Registration". How to register online

  • Final year projects 2017/2018

    All students entering Stage 3 in September 2017 are required to register and sign-up for a final year project (one of CO600/CO620/CO650).
    CO650 IT Consultancy Project - acceptance onto this module is subject to interview
    CO600 Group Project, CO620 Research Project: Deadline 9 June 2017 (30 September 2017 for students currently out on placement).
