EEG Source Reconstruction on Local-Global : Fronto-Temporal Sources of the Double Surprise Acceleration Modulated by Sedation.

Abstract:

Perception is a fundamental function for cognition. The processing of information from the sensory (eg. eye) up to the brain (primary area) is quite well established now. However, the relationship from the primary level in the brain to the more higher functions which give rise to a conscious though is still in debate.

ALocal-Global auditory paradigm with two levels of irregularities . The firstlocaleffect is related to the Mismatch Negativity (MMN), while theglobaleffect, reveals the P300. In this experiment, we are interested in thelocal byglobal interaction, using source reconstruction paradigm.A theoretical framework will be presented with description of source inversion methodology. The results on the local-global experiment will be expressed in term of the predictive coding .
