About

I started my PhD in Computer Science in September 2017 under the supervision of Professor Howard Bowman and Dr Srivas Chennu. I previously obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Groningen and my MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University.

Research interests

I am a member of the following research groups:

My research interest lies in extending our understanding of human consciousness. In my research I have been investigating how illusory visual percepts elicited by certain experimental paradigms manifest on a neuronal level. Methodologically, I am driven by applying machine learning methods as well as computational modelling to neuroimaging (EEG) data.
