About

I am a Machine Learning enthusiast studying Bayesian Statistics applied to Neuroscience, under the supervision of Howard Bowman and Marek Grześ. More particularly, I am studying Karl Friston theory of Active inference that frames the brain as an inference engine. This theory is backed up by a huge theoretical background and is related to predictive coding, reinforcement learning, KL control, utility theory and various other theories of behaviour. Until now, this framework has been applied to problem with low dimensional inputs and extending this framework to more complex problems is an intense area of research, which is the subject of my PhD.
