James belongs to the following research groups:
James' main research focus is on machine learning, focusing on swarm intelligence and adding domain knowledge to these algorithms. "It is rare to come across an unexplored domain. We should be embracing this existing knowledge and build algorithms that add to what is already known and not always start from scratch."
Currently he is working with Radu Grigore where we are trying to speed up runtime verification with machine learning.
