Dear colleagues,
As some of you know, I had the idea of going mining in team (sorry for my bad english).
I would like to use this thread in order to state clearly the rules. All rules are under discussion by Soc M8's.
1.- Each mining run will be decided before, in order to buy previously either enmatter probes, ore bombs or both (as we are mainly a miners soc), also start and end time of the run should be agreed before.
2.- Each miner must have the same ammount of probes/bombs.
3.- Items could be shared as finders, extractors and refiners.
4.- Prospection is done by turns. The leader decides where and when to try.
5.- On a finding:
a)The resource deed must be showed to the leader.
b)The rest of the team protects the miner from mob attacks if neccesary.
c)If the extractor breaks (I hope so, because this would mean that we found some HOF's Smile , any other team member can share his equipment.
d)I am not sure that a resource deed can be given to other avatar, if so, we could discuss it the extraction should be done by the most skilled avatar.
e)Always double bomb on findings.
6.- Unless not possible due to mob attacks, the loot should be shared after each finding.

I know that there are much more subjects to discuss, but I think that the rules should be easy and not many.

Please post your ideas.

Regards

Is this event long time (like Friday soc hunt) or just one time trip?

Hi again,

All ideas must to be tested.

I guess that the ideal team should be 5 people, and an ammount of 20-30ped in probes or bombs (40-60probes/20-30bombs). The question is to have an experienced miner inside the soc like Red or outside like our friend Punksta to make the right decissions (or may be you if you got nice mining skills). Wink
The people invited must be of total trust for soc members.

As all we are europeans, we need to do it at the right time and in the right place. So this subjects are under discussion as well. (My opinion is to mine in an empty-of-anoying-competitors place, and at a time where the loot pool is full, i.e. friday night, saturday afternoon...)

You know that a mining trip is loooooong and more if we are 5 people with 300 enmatter probes in total. (2-3 hours trip).

Write your thoughts.

I like this idea...

Maybe a strip mining formation would be possible... where we all line up 50m appart and drop bombs/probes at agreed intervals... this would give us better coverage of the land.

I always had good luck mining the run south from Pandora all the way down to Twin Peaks; or around the South East of oil rig (and the hunting is ok too - Berycled, Sabakuma, a few atrax, and drones right at the end).

It is true that some more skilled miners will not benefit as much as noobs... but this is also true with team hunts on equal PED, so I don't think it will be a problem. If it gets too expensive people will not come.

It would be nice to do this regularly like the team hunt - maybe doing both each week, or alternating hunt one week and mine the next week.

Saturday pm is bad for me... I go to the football on a Saturday afternoon.

After 7pm on Saturday or any time on Sunday... though we have a lot of stuff to get ready on the house (not that I am allowed to help - but my supervision is essential Smile )
