Spring Term 2019

There will be Canterbury homework clubs this term for undergraduate School of Computing students. They will run in room SW103. Year in Computing stduents are welcome to attend any of the stage 1 or 2 sessions, although in Spring term the stage 2 sessions may be more beneficial.

The homework club runs from week 14 to week 24. The times change between the Autumn and the Spring term to accommodate the changes to timetables.

Homework Club for Stage 1 Students

The homework club is a place that stage 1 students can go to for help with material in all their COxxx modules. It is staffed by stage 2 and stage 3 students that successfully made it through stage 1.

There are 4 sessions per week this term. Attendance is voluntary and you can attend any part of any session in any week that it runs.

  • Monday 1600 - 1800 (joint with stage 2)
  • Tuesday 1600 - 1800
  • Wednesday 1500 - 1700
  • Thursday 1300 - 1500

Homework Club for Stage 2 Students

The stage 2 homework club is similar to the stage 1 club, and it is staffed by stage 3 students that have successfully made it through stage 2.

  • Monday 1600 - 1800 (joint with stage 1)
  • Tuesday 1400 - 1600
  • Wednesday 1300 - 1500

Homework club for stage 3 students

The stage 3 homework club comprises sessions where stage 3 students can get together to work; it is not staffed. There are 2 sessions per week this term.

  • Thursday 1500 - 1700
  • Friday 1400 - 1600
