2008 PROJECT

 

Four teams competed in 2008: Kent, Leeds, Nottingham, Southampton.  Teams of 5 students created challenges to be completed by 2 pairs of students from each institution.  The competition took place at the University of Kent.  The competition schedule is available here.

 

The students had to create a challenge which could be coded by pairs of students working at a laptop in the timeframe of 1 hour.  The challenges had to fit the scenario of “something useful for inducting new students”.  The judges were be Karen Fraser (HEA-ICS) and Mark Cocker (IBM).
