The workshop sessions will be held in the Grimond Building (number 14 on
map). Accomodation
and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be in Eliot College (number 31 on
map).
Registration
Registration will be from 19.30 to 21.30 on Monday 16th July for participants
who will be arriving on the 16th. This will be in Eliot College Foyer (number
31 on map)
Otherwise registration will be at 9.30am in the Grimond Building Foyer (number
14 on map)
on Tuesday 17th July.
If you wish to purchase an evening meal on the night of 16th July you can either go to Keynes College on campus, or you may wish to try one of the many restaurants in Canterbury.
Accommodation
Rooms are standard single-bed accommodation in Eliot College (unless you have
requested en-suite).
Please note that all room keys have to be collected from the College Reception in Eliot College which is open between 6.00am and 10.00pm only.
Departure
All rooms are to be vacated no later than 10.00am on the day of departure. Luggage
can be held in a store area close by to the College Reception.
Car Parking
Cars may be parked in the Visitors' Car Park in Giles Lane free of charge.
Messages
If participants need to be contacted during the workshop messages can be left
with the workshop secretary, Judith Broom on 01227 827833.
Meals
All meals will be in Eliot Dining Hall.
Name Badges
Will be given out at Registration and should be worn at all times.
Changes, additions and corrections
Each participant should have received this information prior to the conference
- however please be aware that there may be additions, changes and corrections.
These will be announced at Registration.
Smoking
There is a no smoking policy at the University. Smoking is only permitted outside.
Photocopying/FAXes
Facilities are available through the College Reception.
