What date format should be used for the javadoc `@version` comments? Should it be:

• DD-MM-YYYY
• MM-DD-YYYY
• YYYY-MM-DD
• something completely different?

Answer 2:

My preference is for YYYY-MM-DD, but there is no absolute rule for that.
