Gold Card? |
|
Does anyone in the soc have a gold card? When I asked in-game the answers were all "no".
I've started thinking about it after the reports of people having all their stuff stolen. Maybe it's a worthwhile investment... I can't decide
I'm guessing if most of the soc don't have one then you think they're not worth spending money on?
I think I'll have to decide at what point my "value" in game gets to a point at which I'd be thoroughly annoyed to lose it all...

How long did it take to come?
How does it work? You put the card in to a reader and it gives a number?

i was fast i think 1 week till i got it. and yes u put the card into the reader and it gives u a number. u need to generate one for each login. u can have a look at the TT. there u see the reader looks like a keyring. pretty handy. no need to plug that thingy to the computer.

Ah - that's handy since it makes it nice and portable. I play at home and work and was slightly concerned I'd need two readers.
I was hoping for something a little more like this though:
Then it's only one item to carry. Oh well, can't expect MA to get it exactly how I want
Maybe I'll buy one soon

Kyl - you still need two bits though, but looks like the card is the right size to hide away in a wallet
JJ - yeah, I've had a look at Kyl's treasure hunt, but I'm finding it difficult!
