Starting out mining

I've only done hunting up to this point, so I figured I should give mining a try. Can anyone suggest what's best for starting?

Should I do enmatter or not?

And any recommendations for places to try - I'd be happy with a place that gives small returns, but frequently, so I can get the hang of things.

Enmatters are good to begin with, but minerals are worth more....

I usually mine around Genesis HQ, but there can be better places for begginers...

u could try east of Troy and around Atlas Haven. i had some hits there. But of course it can happen that u dont hit there...

I doubt you would find anything on TT stuff tho... I only started getting returns after i got my 103 Stuff.
