David Colver from Operis will give an accessible introduction to the mathematical techniques used by bankers to assess investment opportunities. It will equip those of an entrepreneurial bent with knowledge of how to seek finance for their ventures. It will explain also how the spread of these techniques has created lucrative opportunities in the City for those with numerate and analytical backgrounds, and suggest how to think about planning a career that exploits them.
