Call for Posters
All EDCC2026 attendees are welcome to submit a poster to the EDCC2026 Poster Session. We solicit two categories of posters:
- Posters that accompany accepted papers (main conference, workshops, student forum, fast abstracts): For enabling more intensive one-to-one discussions without the timing constraints of the paper sessions.
- Stand-alone Posters (not connected to an accepted paper): For presenting e.g. preliminary work or wild-and-crazy ideas.
Important dates
All posters will be subject to light reviewing, and the authors are expected to hand in a draft until the submission deadline.
| Submission deadline: | 22nd Febuary, 2026 | |
| Author notification: | 2nd March, 2026 |
Submission Instructions
Please submit your poster as a PDF file through the HotCRP platform here.
General guidelines for the submission:
- Poster format: A0, portrait, loosely based on our poster template (PowerPoint, LaTeX Beamer)
- Minimum information on the poster: Title, author name(s), affiliation, e-mail address(es)
- Language: English
- Posters are a visual medium – make sure to visualize, avoid a "wall of text". Make it visually attractive!
- A poster simply consisting of pages of your paper is ineffective, and thus not acceptable as a poster.
Accepted Posters
- The acceptance notification includes an assigned poster ID. Please place this ID clearly visible in the lower right corner of your poster (for the voting procedure, see below).
- Authors are expected to incorporate review comments.
- No printing service is available on-site. Bring your printed (A0, portrait) poster to the conference.
- We advise you not to laminate your poster, as this will complicate attachment.
Distinguished Posters
All attendees will be invited to vote for the two posters they like the most, considering criteria such as originality, conciseness, clarity, visual balance, and the quality of the on-site presentation or Q&A by the authors. The three posters receiving the highest number of votes will each be honoured with a Distinguished Poster Award, which will be presented at the conference dinner.
