what this is ...

a portfolio

This is a portfolio.

The portfolio seeks to document the teaching (perhaps, better, the learning) of database concepts during one session. The learning took place in the School of Computing at the University of Leeds.

The teaching was done by me, Tony Jenkins, when I was a Senior Teaching Fellow in that School. The course was a second year module addressing the fundamental concepts of databases.

The portfolio was developed as part of a project intended to create a Disciplinary Commons for Databases within Computing Education. While the work, and views, presented here are mine, they also reflect much useful input and many useful discussions with other members of the Commons.
