Alex Freitas awarded EPSRC Discipline-Hopping grant
Alex Freitas
Dr. Alex Freitas has been recently awarded a £104,000 EPSRC Discipline-Hopping grant entitled: “Predicting the Volume of Distribution of Drugs and Toxicants with Data Mining”.
This is a two-year grant, from Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2014. In this project Alex will be “hopping” into the pharmaceutical sciences, spending two and a half days per week based on the Medway School of Pharmacy, doing research in collaboration with Dr. Taravat Ghafourian, a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics.
