Abstract

URLs in Print: To Cite or Not to Cite.

``Link maintenance has become a controversial topic, especially as URLs for contact or supplementary information become increasingly used in serial and monograph publications.'' (Ron Vetter).

It is a question of amount: The more URLs in the reference list the less I trust the paper and the lower its archival relevance.
