Publishing Web Pages on the Computer Science Web Site
The Basic Publishing Guidelines below provides all the information you need to successfiully publish web pages on the Computer Science web site (CSWeb). All CSWeb web pages should conform to the house style and a series of build scripts are provided to enable you to achieve this easily. You are required to know a basic level of HTML, the web authoring language, to enable you to create headings, paragraphs and lists. You should also apply simple guidelines to improve the accessibility of your web pages to people with disabilities.
Most authors only ever use techniques from this basic list. However, more experienced users may wish to publish web pages using additional styles or dynamic content and they should consult the Advanced Publishing Guidelines.
If you are new to the the department or have not published a web page before, you should read the Getting Started document first before consulting the Guidelines below.
