Free Film Screening of Hidden Figures

In celebration of Black History Month, the Student Success team invites students from the School of Computing to a free screening of Hidden Figures. This inspiring film shares the untold story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson, three African-American women working at NASA as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history, the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.

This event will be held on Monday 19th October, 6pm at the Gulbenkian. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance from-https://thegulbenkian.co.uk/events/school-of-computing-private-screening-hidden-figures/ using the password CEMSBHM.

Capacity is limited. This event has been organised in collaboration with the Student Success Team in SMSAS.
