This month, students from the School of Computing and the School of Engineering and Digital Arts took part in a series of webinars on Business: New Digital Horizons in collaboration with Kent Innovation and Enterprise and Enabling Innovation: Research to Application (EIRA).

The webinar series focused on using students’ knowledge and skills from across Kent to offer quick solutions to business related issues, give insights into different topics and technology developments and identify growth opportunities.

Sophia delivered a presentation on the value of Virtual Reality for new digital creative media solutions in health care, design, retail education and training. During the presentation, Sophia drew on examples from her research work on virtual stages for artists during the pandemic.
