Technician, Joanna Scamp, wins prize in image competition

One of our technicians at University of Kent, Joanna Scamp scooped second prize for her portrait of another technician, Antonio, testing a 3D printed antenna in our specialist Antennas Lab.
Staff working within the technical community stood the chance of winning great prizes by showing their photography and imaging skills at the annual IST Technical Conference this year.
The theme was 'teams behind the scenes'. Applicants were required to submit images (photographs or digital media pieces) of themselves, their colleagues at work, or the environment in which they work, in ways that best reflected the Conference theme.
