What I do
I teach subject knowledge and facilitate understanding so that students can learn topics which can be tested via formative and summative assessment. This leads to either success or failure: failure will result in re-learning and re-assessment, whereas success is likely to lead to personal gain and a grade, perhaps even confidence in knowing a subject.
